The Bildeston Crown is an original 15th century coaching inn that offers classic and "modern interpretations" using locally-sourced food cooked by talented chef Chris Lee.
They are open for Christmas Day - after your Champagne reception by a roaring log fire, you'll sit down to a five course lunch, with choices including warm lobster salad, Bronze turkey with all the trimmings and Roast Suffolk duck with pain d'epices. Lunch is £80 a head.
Located close to the historic towns of Bury St. Edmunds and Ipswich, the hotel has two separate bars and an extensive selection of wines and traditional Suffolk ales.
